The guy behind The Portland Wedding Show.
After more than ten years in the wedding industry as a DJ, I’ve experienced firsthand what makes a wedding—and a wedding show—successful. I saw the good, the bad, and the missed opportunities. In 2023, I decided to take that knowledge and create the kind of show I always wished existed as a vendor. That vision became the Puyallup Wedding Show.
​In just two years, the Puyallup Wedding Show has grown into one of the most well-attended and well-reviewed shows in the region—driven by a deep focus on vendor experience, strategic marketing, and a no-nonsense commitment to quality. We are seeing about two-thirds of our vendors return each year—a strong indicator that the show delivers real value and a great experience. By year two, we sold out of vendor spaces and built a waitlist of over 60 businesses. Attendance jumped by 60%, and we introduced new features like a fashion show and vendor-led presentations. And we did it all without the roofers, window installers, or pool guys—just real wedding pros, all in one place.​

​Now, I’m bringing that same energy to Portland. I know the trust in this space has been shaken. The past few years have brought a lot of uncertainty, and vendors deserve more than unfulfilled commitments or last-minute changes. You deserve a show that shows up—for you, your business, and your future clients.
My approach is simple: create a fun, memorable experience for attendees—and a thoughtful, well-supported one for vendors. We’re intentional about every part of the process, from keeping the show 100% wedding-focused to making sure vendors have the tools they need to succeed. We provide customizable promo graphics to help spread the word, and we back that up with a serious ad budget across social media, Google, Spotify, billboards, and more. In the month leading up to the show, we share ticket sales and key demographic info—like who’s buying tickets, when they’re getting married, and what roles they’re playing in the planning process. Because when vendors have the right information and the right support, the entire show is stronger—and that’s the kind of momentum I’m bringing to Portland.
